Minecraft Design Camp

Minecraft Design

Minecraft is both fun and useful. It develops spatial awareness, creativity, and logical thinking. However, it can also be used as a platform for creative design challenges. The main goal of this camp is to further develop the student's design and creative skills in Minecraft. They will learn how to paint and design maps and characters!

Create your own adventure!

Throughout the week, kids will create their own adventure map with their own story. From abandoned house to mountain adventure story, anything is possible!

Highlights

During the camp, kids will:

Develop their logical thinking and problem solving skills

Get introduced to the basics of Minecraft

Learn creative design and planning skills

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this camp.

Necessary software

  • In case, the school opens online camps: Besides the aforementioned Minecraft subscription, to participate in the online camp, kids will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, plus a built-in or external microphone. We recommend having a headset and a web camera too.

8:15 - 8:30 Arrival of children

8:30 - 10:00 Morning program on the theme of the camp in the classroom

10:00 - 10:30 Snack (at the branch)

10:30 - 12:00 Second part of the morning programme in the classroom

12:00 - 13:00 Lunch in the restaurant

13:00 - 15:45 Afternoon leisure programme

15:45 - 16:00 Picking up children at the branch

Afternoon programmes: in addition to thematic programmes, children can enjoy a range of leisure activities. We adapt the programme to the age of the children in the group and also to the current weather. Safety is ensured by our trained animators and camp counselors!
